The Wates team and our sub-contractors would like to thank you for your continued patience whilst we have been on site at Burgh Mill Gardens.

Our site will close for the Christmas period on Friday 21 December, and will re-open in the new year on Wednesday 2 January.

With the beam & block floor complete the timber frame contractor begin to fix their timber sole plates to the floor, working alongside them are the scaffolders who have erected the scaffold to the perimeter of the building. Here we can see the timber frame has progressed very quickly with the ground floor wall panels and first floor cassettes already in place.

Over half of the roof is constructed and once complete the next step will be to lift each section of the roof down, install the timber frame panels to the first floor and then lift the roof back into place and fix to the first floor panels.
